How to become an adult leader

Complete the sign-up form. Men and women ages 21 and older are eligible to be adult advisors. No Masonic connection or relation to a DeMolay is required.

Each chapter must have at least three Master Masons on the advisory council. The adult volunteer position of Chairman of the Advisory Council must be filled by a Master Mason. Interested adults must pass a background check and application process requiring three references. Before becoming an advisor, applicants must complete the three-hour DeMolay Advisor Development (D.A.D.) training program.

How to start a local chapter

Complete the sign-up form. Your jurisdiction’s office will contact you with a chapter start-up kit and assistance with forming an advisory council, applying for Letters Temporary, and initiating members.

How to become an adult leader

Complete the sign-up form. Men and women ages 20 and older are eligible to serve as members of a bethel guardian council if they are one of the following:

  1. Master Mason
  2. Majority Job’s Daughter
  3. Person of Masonic heritage
  4. Parent, grandparent, stepparent, or guardian of an active or majority member of the bethel

The adult volunteer position of Associate Bethel Guardian must be filled by a Master Mason. Interested adults must pass a background check and approval process and complete the Certified Adult Volunteer (CAV) training course.

How to start a local bethel

Complete the sign-up form. Job’s Daughters, California will assign a special deputy grand guardian to meet with you and assist with applying for dispensation, initiating members and appointing officers, and forming a bethel guardian council.

How to become an adult leader

Complete the sign-up form. Men and women ages 24 and older are eligible to be adult advisors if they are one of the following:

  1. Master Mason
  2. Majority Rainbow Girl
  3. Member of Eastern Star, White Shrine, or Amaranth
  4. Parent, grandparent, or guardian of an active or majority Rainbow Girl

Each assembly must have at least two Master Masons on the advisory board. Interested adults must pass a background check and application/approval process and complete a Youth Protection Training program.

How to start a local assembly

Complete the sign-up form. California Rainbow for Girls will contact you with an assembly start-up kit. An area grand deputy will meet with you and assist with forming an advisory board, organizing prospect events, and preparing for the official institution of the assembly.
